Cambian specialise in providing advanced solutions for computer aided design and digital manufacture using engineered wood; from simple components to complex assemblies.
Cambian is now a part of Cordek Limited, offering our customers a unique combination of experience and capabilities.

Cambian's History
Founded in 2011, Cambian set out with the following strategic objectives:
• Provide a production solution for engineered wood panels underpinned by professional engineering expertise.
• Transfer mechanical engineering knowledge and working practices to the built environment sector.
Through a diverse range of projects, Cambian has developed many novel production and design techniques, all of which are transferable between fields of application.
These principles deliver complex projects, to tight tolerances, commonly with 10,000 plus unique parts, using robust and automated methods.

Cordek Acquires Cambian
In December 2024, Cambian Engineering Solutions was acquired by Cordek Limited.
Cordek is well known for its bespoke Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), model board and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Infrastructure and Superstructure formwork, as well as patterns and moulds for off-site construction. Now, with the addition of engineered wood to its portfolio, Cordek can deliver integrated and optimised solutions, utilising the best possible materials for every application. This will also provide customers with the benefits of a single source of supply for bespoke formwork, patterns and moulds as well as finished architectural features in engineered wood.
The acquisition also complements and strengthens Cordek’s existing Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) capabilities to efficiently deliver everything from simple components to complex assemblies, based on the requirements of the project.
